DESCRIPTION:
Javlin Plate bags are top loading, meaning, the ballistic plates load from the top instead of the bottom. This changes the entire way we construct the plate carrier, which is why our plate carriers feel and function so uniquely.
The top loading plate bag design also allows for our shoulder strap design that keeps the shoulders low bulk and away from the neck to avoid chaffing, but more importantly, have an incredible range of adjustability (14"). This ensures that the operator, no matter how big or small, can properly size their ride height to ensure an ergonomic fit that properly distributes the weight load of the carrier.
People tend to think weight distribution is all in the cummerbund, but it starts with the ride height. This design allows users to dial that in and keep the rear plate bag sitting as high on the back as possible. When the rear plate bag hangs low, your center of gravity shifts. This forces your head and neck to crane forward to balance the weight, and this constant tension in the rhomboids and trapezius muscles leads to chronic pain and trigger point tension between the shoulder blades. AKA: that pain you feel between your shoulder blades when you wear kit for extended periods of time
We've updated the rear plate bag to be compatible with virtually every cummerbund, whether they attach via Velcro, 1/8" or 3/16" shock cord. It's common in the tactical gear industry to mix and match components from different companies, so we ensured users have as many options as possible when choosing a cummerbund.
We also ensured users have as many options as possible when choosing an attachment for the front plate bag. The A-JAC 3.0 is compatible with not only G-Hooks and Split Bar Buckles, but now also Crye Precision style front flaps and placards. This is a huge plus, especially to service members that want to upgrade their plate bags but still be able to use as many issued items as possible.
One of the bigger adjustments we've made to the A-JAC is adding Universal Carrier Attachment Standard (UCAS) Standard #10 Zippers for compatibility with Spiritus Systems and Ferro Concepts zip on back panels (for compatibility with Crye Precision back panels, purchase their MOLLE on adaptors here)
For optimal comfort, Cushions are included for the shoulder straps. The cushions are made from high quality neoprene foam that maximize comfort while adding minimal bulk to the system. Up to four more sets of Cushions can be added to the insides of the plate bags to add even more comfort.
There are some thick plates out there. The Javlin Adaptive Carrier is designed with Flex™ four way stretch material to fit them all. This also allows for the use of soft armor behind hard plates if that's your SOP. The A-JAC fits 10x12 plates, Small & Medium SAPI/ESAPIs (9.5x12.5), and any plates with dimensions less than 10x12.5x1.5
The A-JAC 3.0 can be equipped with a FIRSTSPEAR® TUBES™ quick doff shoulder for both quick doff capabilities and easier donning / doffing without having to remove your helmet. We recommend equipping the quick doff shoulder to your non dominant side, though you do have the option of swapping out both shoulders if desired.
We proudly claim this to be the most comfortable plate carrier on the market, and unlike other companies claiming similar, we back it up. Read our Unbeatable Comfort Guarantee here.

WARRANTY
Here’s a fun fact: “Lifetime warranty” usually means the lifetime of the product - and the company gets to decide when that life is over.
When stitching frays, velcro quits, or fabric fades, they can just shrug and say, “its lifetime is up.” That’s not our style.
Here’s our Tier 1 Warranty:
- We cover your purchase for a full year against any defects in materials or workmanship.
- If something fails because of a defect, we’ll repair or replace it free of charge. Just ship it back to us.
- What’s not covered: misuse, abuse, ignoring care instructions, normal wear and tear, personal mods, or anything outside intended use.
- Coverage applies only to the original purchaser.
