FIRSTSPEAR® TUBES™ are an awesome way to add quick doff capabilities, minimize bulk, and provide a quick and consistent method of attaching the cummerbund to the front plate bag. 

Often you’ll see these sewn directly into the front plate bag, but there are several benefits to having them detached: 

• It’s very popular these days to attach a radio pouch to the front plate bag and have it hang off to the left or right side BEHIND the cummerbund. If the TUBES™ are sewn in to the plat bag though, it prevents this from being possible.

• If the TUBES™ are sewn in, it also forces you to make all your cummerbunds compatible. Having the adaptors removable makes it extremely easy to switch between different cummerbunds that may or may not utilize FIRSTSPEAR® TUBES™ Hardware. 

• The same thing applies to placards. Simply attach the adaptors to the back of any Placard or Front Flap to make them compatible with cummerbunds that utilize FIRSTSPEAR® TUBES™ technology. 

• These adaptors also give you several options for adjustment. You can attach the adaptors high or low on the front plate bag, whatever you find to be the most optimal location for attaching your cummerbund to. 

• Lastly, these adaptors make quick adjustments possible. Typically, if the TUBES™ are sewn in, all adjustments would have to be made on the backside of the cummerbund attached to the rear plate bag. These adaptors change that, and give you the ability to adjust cummerbund tightness while on the go.
